The game kicks off at 4 p.m. PT but fans are encouraged to arrive at Willoughby Park early to take in the many festivities that showcase what women are doing in our communities. Before gates even open at Willoughby Park, everyone is welcome to join a free Pilates HIIT in the Park starting at 2 p.m. PT. As soon as the gates open, make sure you head to the stands to follow along for some pre-game Zumba, presented by Gold’s Gym. Women & Girls in Sports Panel – 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Vancouver is excited to welcome the panelists for our club’s second annual Women & Girls in Sports game. Additionally, VFC is thrilled to offer free “She Can Do Anything” tote bags for the first 200 young fans to visit the panel. But don’t worry if you miss out on the tote bags as Vancouver FC will also be selling “She Can Do Anything” t-shirts. The design features an ode to VFC’s Cherry Blossom Kit, which if fans have not gotten their viral Cherry Blossom Kit yet, make sure you head to the Team Store in the stadium or at the Langley Event Centre to get yours before they’re all gone!
Activation Plaza – starting at 3 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to head to the southwest corner of Willoughby Park stadium to check out Activation Plaza featuring local businesses! Bubble soccer & Zumba – Half-time
Fans should stay in their seats for half-time to witness that controlled chaos and fun that comes with bubble soccer. Or stand up and get the body moving with a second edition of Zumba, presented by Gold’s Gym, at the half.
As always, fans can take in the sights and sounds of Vancouver’s Family Zone under the west grandstand, the Camp Beer Co. tent, and the beautiful game that’ll be taking place on the pitch.
